What did Anxious for Nothing do for Christmas?

Updated: Jan 1, 2021

In December we started our holiday season, with our skateboard outreach. There the youth donated over 150 can food items for our feeding program!
We were donated two beautiful Christmas trees that we were able to put up at two of the locations we serve. So many wonderful things happened around that tree, hearts were soften and many of the people we serve had not put up a tree for years. Tears were shed and stories were told. What is even more amazing is they were reminded what Christmas is about... Jesus!
The week before Christmas we received a donation of toys that we were able to deliver to the parents of kids we serve for them to use for Christmas. Many said that this was the only gifts they had and were very thankful for the generosity of our donors.
On Christmas morning we woke up at 4:30 am to snow and an excitement to play secret Santa. We received many donated gifts for the people we served. We delivered these gifts anonymously to them. They were so blessed Christmas morning when they woke to find snow and presents! Since then we have heard stories on how surprised and loved they felt.
None of this would have been possible without God's spirit moving in the hearts of our volunteers and donors. We thank you all and May God continue to bless you and the people we serve.
