The sun was shining, the kids were nailing new tricks the day was flowing with the Holy Spirit. Our message was about the true meaning of Easter and how John the disciple seeing the empty tomb believed (John 20:8). Was he still puzzled on all that took please, yes ! But he still believed. There are times in our walk with Christ that we are puzzled and don’t quite understand. Yet, we still believe- like John ,that Jesus died on a cross , rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and will come again (John 14:1). After the message , many youth for the first time confessed with their lips that they believed and said a prayer of salvation. Praise God! To add to the wonder of the day, a mom who happened to be at the skatepark with her son, joined us for the first time. She told me that her son just got saved that morning at work. She added
to be at the park right as we were was A God thing! God confirmed to her son who he was and that he was loved ! How amazing that our God cares so much about us that he orchestrated a whole day to remind this young man and many more that they are loved and Jesus is who he says he is.
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
